Policeman kicks the bucket in conflict in Bardiya

Bardiya, Sept 4: A Police Head Constable kicked the bucket at the beginning of today in a conflict that occurred in the middle of instigators and police in course of escorting night transports originating from money to their destinations.

The expired has been distinguished as Dev Bahadur Pandey. The occurrence occurred at the Area Police Office, Mainapokhar, around 9:00 am. The conflict occurred after the fomenters assaulted the vehicles being escorted towards their destinations by police.

Boss District Officer, Binod Bahadur Kunwar, said that police opened five rounds of projectile noticeable all around and in addition a few rounds of teargas shells.

As indicated by a witness, two fomenters were harmed in police discharging and the harmed have been taken to Nepalgunj. The area has stayed shut since 25 days at a call of the Tharuhat United Struggle Committee and United Madhesi Front.

Head Constable Pandey passed on while experiencing treatment at Teaching Hospital, Nepalgunj, said Kunwar.
